Care Matters Partnership is pleased to announce their plans to launch a Leadership Academy for Young People who may not have had access to resources to help them grow and learn as individuals. This year long programme will enable young people to gain insight and foresight into their futures and the opportunities available to them. The annual membership to the academy will include a series of training days covering a range of topics such as finding your skills, leadership, team building, relationships and embracing independence. Furthermore, there will be an opportunity to gain a microloan to work in whatever area is of interest with backing. Sector relevant mentors will be provided to each participant, as well as the opportunity to get involved with conferences, public speaking events and other events as they arise. To be launched in September 2010.
